Scotland

Ardnamurchan Campsite, Kilchoan, Highlands

Although not the easiest campsite to visit in a motorhome, it’s well worth the additional care and effort to get there, the stunning coastal views are out of this world. Based near the tip of a rocky finger of land 60 miles from Fort William, the campsite is part of a small working croft. A perfect spot for wildlife enthusiasts, otters, golden eagles, sea eagles and pine martens all live close by.

Ireland

Castle Archdale Country Park, Lisnarick

Situated close to the shore of Lower Lough Erne, Castle Archdale offers a wide range of activities on both land and water. The woodland offers a great walks and adventure, or visit the marina area where you can hire bikes, boats and canoes. The park boasts 150 caravan and motorhome spaces.

Eagle Point Camping, Co. Cork

Overlooking Bantry Bay at Ballylickey, this campsite is an idyllic base for touring West Cork. Set on a peninsula with pebbled beaches, the site is perfect for water sport enthusiasts, fishing for mackerel and Pollock. The site provides a football field, tennis court and small playground.

Wales

Faerie-thyme, Crwbin, Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire

This adult only campsite, comprises of a flat grass area surrounded by ancient woodland set back from the road. Basic camping amenities are available, close to the camping field, aside from the chemical disposal, located just outside. With six electric hook ups available, early booking is recommended. Situated near the Preseli and Black Mountains and Carmarthen Bay, it’s an ideal spot for walkers.

England

Hawkshead Hall Campsite, Hawkshead, Cumbria

Based just outside the picturesque village of Hawkshead, the campsite is an ideal base to explore all the Lake District has to offer. Whether you want to cycle, horse ride, have a tree top adventure, hill walk or take a boat trips on the water, there is always something to entertain you.

Lee Valley Camping and Caravanning Park, Edmonton, London

One of five permanent campsites in our capital city, Lee Valley is the closest to central London, ideal for all the family to visit the capital’s attractions.

Lower Micklin Touring Park, Denstone, Staffordshire

With electric hook ups to all 15 pitches, this park is extremely popular due to its proximity to Alton Towers. Buses leave from the bottom of the site’s driveway to transport visitors to the theme park, only two miles down the road.

Setley Ridge Vineyard, Brockenhurst, Hampshire

Deep in the heart of the New Forest National Park, Setley Ridge Vineyard is a family-run working vineyard which welcomes motorhomes to its on site camping area. With the National Motor Museum, Buckler’s Hard (famous for building Nelson’s ships) and Dorset coastal resorts nearby, Setley Ridge makes a great base for family days out.

Sherwood Forest Holiday Park, Nottinghamshire

The 40 acre campsite in the heart of Robin Hood country is specifically aimed at young families close to the forest’s visitor’s centre. With plenty of scope to explore the 450 acre national nature reserve the campsite is based on, make sure you make time to visit the Major Oak, believed to be a whopping 800 years old.

Wing Hall, Wing, Rutland

This campsite, set in the beautiful grounds of the stately Wing Hall provides an ideal stay for keen water sport enthusiasts, with Rutland Water close by. Anglian Water has created three cycle routes around Rutland Water. The horseshoe-shaped reservoir hosts a three mile, eight mile and for the more experience cyclists, a 25 mile cycle route to enjoy.
